World Elder Abuse Awareness (WEAAD) Peel Forum

Peel WEAAD Forum will bring attention and awareness around Elder abuse and Elder rights with guest speakers, Senior services and resources.
The following information booths will be in attendance:
• ACAT Assessment Team – My Aged Care
• Advocare
• Mandurah Seniors Centre/Dandjoo Kaadadjan Mia
• Council on the Ageing (COTA)
• Cycling without Age Mandurah
• LiveUp WA Team
• Peel Community Legal Service / Elders Rights WA
• Peel Senior Relationship Service
• WA Seniors Card Centre
• WEAAD Working Group
• And more ……..
Guest speakers will include Peel Community Legal Services/Elders Rights WA and Peel Seniors Relationship Service. You will be entertainment by Janie’s Boys Choir (a group of gents in their 70’s who will get your toes tapping), plus more.
The WEAAD Forum will be informative, entertaining and a wonderful opportunity to learn and network with those in the senior sector.
We encourage guests to wear purple (the symbolic colour of WEAAD) to show their support.
