To mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2023, OPAN is hosting an online conversation with members of our National Older Persons Reference Group.
The event will involve discussion of the experiences of older people across Australia, and foster a public dialogue around ageism and abuse. Additionally, the roundtable will offer practical strategies to identify ageism, abuse and where to go for support.
Moderated by Beverly Baker – National Older Persons Reference Group member and President of the National Older Women’s Network.
