Shire of Carnarvon ‘Wise Up Rise Up’ against elder abuse workshop

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day is commemorated on 15 June each year, encouraging everyone to make a united stand against all forms of abuse against older people in our global communities.
The Shire of Carnarvon will host a ‘Wise Up Rise Up’ against elder abuse workshop on Thursday, 15th of June 2023, 10am-1pm at the Mungullah Community Hall.
Guest speaker Andrea Musulin, Managing Director CFSS WA will present a forum on Protective Behaviours to seniors and other representatives of relevant service providers in Carnarvon for Mungullah.
Ending the workshop with something light-hearted: Gosia Taylor, trained psychologist and local artist will join seniors in an art workshop through to lunchtime.
On this day we will encourage many to make a united stand against all forms of abuse against older people in our community.
