Stir A Cuppa For Seniors – Purple Tea

It’s easier than ever to help spread awareness for WEAAD 2020! Show your support this 15 June without even leaving your home by ‘Stirring a Cuppa for Seniors’.
This year, WEAAD coincides with a period in time where social events are impacted by Covid19, however Seniors Rights Victoria is holding an online Purple Tea called ‘Stir A Cuppa For Seniors’ to support WEAAD and still maintain safe physical distancing.
Seniors Rights Victoria and Council On The Ageing staff and volunteers will connect over a cuppa with invited guests virtually on Zoom, whilst wearing purple or with something purple prominent in their Zoom frame to acknowledge WEAAD. This event will be shared to social media to promote WEAAD.
We encourage other organisations and members of the community to host their own ‘Stir A Cuppa For Seniors’ Purple Tea and share their photos to social media with the hashtag #WEAAD.
