Shepparton goes Purple!

Greater Shepparton City Council will be marking World Elder Abuse Awareness Day by lighting the Mooroopna Water Tower and the big Gum Tree in Monash Park purple on 15 June to help raise awareness of the issue.
Our Positive Ageing Advisory Committee members will be raising awareness in the community by handing out information and purple ribbons within the Council building and in prominent areas in the City around midday.
Our Council Social Connections groups in Shepparton, Dookie, Mooroopna and Merrigum will be wearing purple and having morning tea at the program on various days throughout the week of June 15th to highlight WEAAD.
