REFRESHMENTS: Will be provided following the walk at Mathers House.
LAUNCESTON WALK
WHEN: Gather at 9.45am for a 10am start, Tuesday 15 June.
WHERE: St John St end of Civic Square.
REFRESHMENTS: Will be provided following the walk at Town Hall.
BURNIE WALK
WHEN: Gather at 9.45am for a 10am start, Tuesday 15 June.
WHERE: Wilmot St footpath outside the Marine Terrace car park, opposite the cinema.
REFRESHMENTS: Will be provided following the walk at the Burnie Regional Art Gallery, where you are also invited to stay for the Ageing My Way Exhibition.

WHAT: This forum will discuss what Australia has achieved and what more must be done to end elder abuse since the Australian Law Reform Commission’s “Elder Abuse – A National Legal Response” report was released in June 2017, and the release of the Commonwealth’s “National Plan to Respond to the Abuse of Older Australians (Elder Abuse) 2019-2023” in March 2019. The webinar is the second in the Walk the Talk Forum Series 2021. These important conversations will continue in the 7th National Elder Abuse Conference in Hobart in February next year.
